Transparency and accountability underpin everything we do. The documents below outline how The Collective is governed, how we conduct ethics review, and how we ensure our services remain independent, consistent and accountable. These documents are live, and new policies are constantly being developed.

We submitted these policies as part of our request to be approved as an ethics committee by the Health Research Council Ethics Committee (HRCEC) in August 2025.  This means they may change at the request of the HRCEC to better meet their needs as the statutory body empowered to approve research ethics committees (section 5, Health Research Council Act 1990).
